Appeals against rating assessments are grouped together, in order to deal with them more efficiently. For example, appeals may be dealt with for properties that share similar characteristics, such as location, or property type. The process of dealing with appeals in this way is called Programming. The groups that appeals are placed into are called Sub-programmes.

Each Sub-programme contains information about which appeals are included, and the period within which discussions will take place.

From this page you can:

Search for an appeal in order to find the Sub-programme to which it has been allocated
Search for a Sub-programme
View the details of a Sub-programme
View all the appeals in a particular Sub-programme

Choose the one search option that is most appropriate and then click on the 'Go' button to continue

General Searches

Postcode Search

The simplest way to find an appeal is to enter the full postcode for the relevant property. This will list all appeals for properties with the same postcode, and provide a link to the relevant Sub-programme details for each appeal.
	e.g. BN3	4BF
You can also search by entering part of a postcode, but be aware that this may return a large number of appeals.

Billing/Local Authority Search

If you want to perform a wider search, you can look at all appeals for properties within a specific Billing Authority. Enter the name of the required Billing Authority here

If you are unsure of the name of the Billing Authority, you can enter the first segment of a postcode here to display the Billing Authorities that cover that area.

If you leave both these boxes empty and click on the Go button, you will see the complete list of all Billing Authorities.

Billing/Local Authority Reference Number Search

If you know the Billing Authority reference number of the property the appeal relates to, enter it here

NLPG UPRN Reference Number Search

If you have the NLPG UPRN reference number of the property the appeal relates to, enter it here

Property Type/Special Category Code Search

If you wish to begin a search for an appeal with a particular Special Category code, select it from this list. For details of all available Property Type/Special Category codes with their descriptions, click on the info button.

Sub-programme Identifier Search

If you know the identifier for the Sub-programme you wish to view, enter it here
